Our History
Grey Horse Equestrians was officially established in 2024 — but our story started long before that. For years, we were already in the arena, sponsoring Equestrians With Disabilities and Special Olympics Equestrian competitions, watching firsthand what horses could unlock in people.
When we saw how many more lives we could touch, the path forward became clear. Becoming a 501(c)(3) wasn't just a legal step — it was a commitment to show up for veterans, for individuals with emotional, cognitive, and physical disabilities, and for others who deserve access to the transformative power of equestrian experience.
Every board member at Grey Horse Equestrians is here because this work matters to them personally. This isn't obligation — it's passion with a purpose.
